Here you can read about how we handle your personal data. All kinds of information and data that can be attributed to you in any way are considered personal data.

The information that we process may come from you or others in connection with the delivery of services to our customers, when you subscribe to our newsletter, apply for a job with us, or visit our website.

In situations where Klikko acts as a data processor, we will always be subject to a written data processing agreement that ourlines how we protect personal data.

  1. Types of Processing
    Below we explain the purposes for which we process your personal data.

2.1. Delivery of Services to Our Customers If you or your employer is a customer of ours, we often process your personal data to fulfill an agreement on the delivery of our marketing services. As a rule, we will only receive general personal data about you in the form of name, email, workplace, work tasks, job title, phone number, and payment information when delivering services to our customers.

If you are a customer, we process your personal data based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR about contractual obligation. If you represent a company that is a customer of ours, we process your personal data based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR about legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is to fulfill the contract that we have entered into with the company you represent.

We store your personal data as long as the customer relationship or potential for it exists. We delete your personal data no later than 10 years after the customer relationship ends to defend against any legal claims.

2.2. Newsletters

You receive our newsletter because you have subscribed to it yourself. If you have subscribed to the newsletters yourself, we process your personal data by storing your information. The purpose of the storage is, among other things, to continue delivering newsletters to you. We store the following information:

  • Name
  • Title
  • Workplace
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Email

For our newsletter distribution to you, we store your personal data as long as you wish to receive newsletters from us and for 2 years thereafter.

We process your personal data based on Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR about consent. You can always unsubscribe from the newsletter via the link at the bottom of the newsletter or by contacting md@klikko.dk.

2.3. Inquiries

If you contact us via email or in connection with other inquiries, we process general personal data such as your contact details, affiliation with a specific company, or other personal data that you may provide us.

We process your personal data based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR about legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is to be able to respond to your inquiry. If you are a customer, we process your personal data based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR about contractual obligation.

We store your personal data for the longer of the following periods: Three months or until our correspondence with you is concluded. If you are a customer of ours, we store the correspondence in accordance with the period in section 2.1.

We disclose or transfer your personal data to the following categories of recipients: our partners and data processors.

2.4. Website

When you visit our website www.klikkoseo.com, we collect data about you to make statistics, optimize the website, use memory functions, and target marketing. Among other things, we process the following:

  • Your IP address, used for statistical purposes and remarketing,
  • Your operating system and browser version, used to optimize the future user experience on the website,
  • Date and time of your visit to the website, used solely for statistical purposes,

  • Data is transferred to third parties such as Google and Facebook for statistical or targeted remarketing purposes.

We process your personal data based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR about legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is to offer you an interesting website that functions optimally. In addition, we process your personal data based on Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR about consent.

2.5. Job Applicants, Employees, and Consultants If you apply for a job with us, we process the personal data that you have provided us or information from others that you have consented for us to contact. We do this to assess your application and you. We store all applications for a period of up to 6 months after the application deadline to ensure we find the right candidate for the position.

We process your personal data based on Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR about consent and Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR about legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is to read your application to assess if you are the right candidate for the position.

When you are employed with us, you can read more about our processing of your personal data in our internal data protection policy. When you are no longer employed with us, we generally store your information for a period of up to 10 years after termination. However, there may be special circumstances that require us to store them for a longer period. If you work as a consultant for us, we also store your information for up to 10 years after you have left.

  1. To offer you our newsletters, services, a good website, jobs, etc., it is necessary for us to process your personal data by collecting, recording, systematizing, storing, using, retaining, deleting, transferring, and disclosing your information.
  2. Recipients or Categories of Recipients
    We may disclose or transfer your personal data to our data processors, advisors (e.g., lawyer), other external suppliers or partners, assisting us with various services, third-party solutions, or the operation of our business, public authorities, including SKAT.
  3. Transfer of Personal Data to Third Countries
    In some cases, we transfer your personal data to recipients outside the EU/EEA. This occurs when we use data processors in countries outside the EU. Such transfers will take place in accordance with the GDPR, including the use of the Commission’s standard contracts.   4. Security
    The information that you give us or that we obtain about you from others, we ensure to store securely and confidentially. When appropriate, we ensure to encrypt, pseudonymize or anonymize your personal data. We will at all times ensure that we comply with the applicable data protection legislation.

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally or illegally deleted, published, lost, degraded, or coming to the knowledge of unauthorized persons, misused, or otherwise processed in violation of the current legislation.

We delete your personal data when we no longer need to process them to fulfill one or more of the purposes we have mentioned above. There may be special rules in laws, such as the accounting, money laundering, and statute of limitations laws, which give us the right and obligation to store them for a longer period.

  1. Right to Withdraw Your Consent You have the right at any time to withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal data. You can do this by sending an email to md@klikko.dk. If you choose to withdraw your consent, it does not affect the legality of our processing of your personal data based on your previously given consent and up to the time of your withdrawal. Therefore, if you withdraw your consent, it will only have effect from that time. Remember, if you withdraw your consent for us to send you one of our newsletters, we can no longer send you the relevant newsletter.
